Yealink Network Technology, a professional manufacturer of IP Phones, announced today that the company has completed the integration of the TR-069 client delivered by AVSystem. The TR-069 libcwmp client has been deployed in the entire product range, starting from the baseline SIP-T20P IP phones up to the most advanced SIP-T28P IP phones and video IP phones. This new functionality provides the users, especially Telco and large enterprises, with many additional options for remote management, provisioning and firmware upgrades of the deployed devices.
TR-069 is the industry standard for remote provisioning, management and monitoring of any network enabled devices. It is specified by Broadband Forum and at present widely used by Telco worldwide.
AVSystem stack for TR-069 management has been selected based on the strictest criteria of memory consumption and CPU utilization.
“Yealink did the right choice in selecting AVSystem as its strategic partner for TR-069 module for IP phone family. Thanks to the lowest memory footprint and excellent abstraction of the AVSystem solution, we were capable of a fast integration of TR-069 client. Nowadays, TR-069 is a ‘must have’ feature for any company supplying Telco with IP phones,” said Stone Lu, VP of Yealink.
AVSystem TR-069 client provides direct access to a whole set of native IP phone features (SIP line configuration, network configuration, QoS settings) as well as to more advanced ones (ring tone management, phone book management, VoIP call quality monitoring). Thanks to the TR-111 standard support, the phones might be freely installed behind NAT and remain accessible remotely from the provisioning platform and VoiceIP-ACS (Auto Configuration Server) server.

AVSystem VoiceIP-ACS platform dedicated for Telco can protect investment, especially in case the IP phones (or other devices) are donated during the service subscription. The IP phone UI can be locked against the end user while access to a preciously defined set of features is given to him through the web portal of integrated VoiceIP-ACS platform. The subscriber has still the opportunity to reconfigure its personal setting of the IP phone, while Telco has a warranty that the service is not broken by the subscriber configuration mistake.
