Welcome the new year in true New York City style at Manhattan’s celebration destination at the first annual New Year’s Eve Gala on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Mandarin Oriental, New York. The elegant New Year’s Eve of bygone days is being brought back to life in the hotel’s stunning ballroom overlooking Central Park and the glittering lights of Manhattan. This black-tie evening begins at 7:00 pm with butler passed hors d’oeuvres and a premium open bar. The Gala includes a four course gourmet dinner with delicacies including Kumanmoto Oysters, Iranian Caviar, Foie Gras, Maine Lobster, Filet Mignon and an array of indulgent desserts. After dinner, live music form the Harris Lane Orchestra will keep guests dancing into the new year.

New Year’s Eve Gala Hotel Package
Ring in 2011 with the New Year’s Eve Gala weekend hotel package at Manhattan’s Celebration Destination, Mandarin Oriental. The New Year’s Eve Gala hotel package rates start at USD 5,150 for Central Park View Rooms or USD 8,150 for Central Park View Suites, and includes:

A Gourmand’s New Year in Restaurant Asiate
Celebrate the coming of the new year with a grand finale feast in restaurant Asiate overlooking the stunning Manhattan skyline. Chef Kida delights the palate with signature creations of Tuna Tataki, Black Truffle Pasta, Main Lobster and Wagyu Beef while Wine Director Annie Turso accentuates the delicious flavors with wines from Asiate’s award winning cellar and artfully selected wine pairings. To top off the night, indulge in Chef Nolan’s decadent dessert and a champagne toast at midnight. The first seating starts between 5:30pm – 6pm and features a five-course prix fixe dinner for USD 125 per person and wine pairings available at an additional USD 85.
