Version 3.10 improves the core functionality of the Leave Module in two significant ways: updates to over 300 State Leave Rules across the 50 US states and District of Columbia, and Employee and Manager Self-Service. These strengthen Presagia's already robust solution which customers can utilize as a single-source for efficient leave administration.
Administering leave policies in a consistent and equitable manner across a workforce is a challenge for employers. This is compounded by continually changing state leave regulations. Providing this to our customers ensures they are following efficient leave processes based on the latest regulatory requirements. As well, it offers leave managers decision-support at critical moments, enabling them to make better decisions and spend more time focused on actual leave administration.
Another issue with traditional leave management has been poor engagement of two key stakeholders – employees and their managers. The new Employee and Manager Self-Service portals respond to this by providing them access to the tools and decision support they need to successfully collaborate in leave processes. Employees can view their leave history, request a leave, and upload their leave certification documents. Managers can enter leave requests for their employees, upload leave documentation, and view leave reports and dashboards that support scheduling and staffing decisions. The result of engaging employees and managers in leave management can be reductions in HR administration, improved workforce planning, and expedited leave processes.
