Sixty Colleges to Participate in CollegeWeekLive Army ROTC Day on Thursday, December 2nd

CollegeWeekLive provides us with a way to connect with high school students like never before

CollegeWeekLive, provider of the world's largest college fairs and admissions events, today announced CollegeWeekLive Army ROTC Day, a one day event for students interested in pursuing a full college scholarship with the Army ROTC program. The event, to be held on Thursday, December 2nd from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern, will host sixty institutions of higher education that participate in the Army ROTC program. Register free here.

  •     4:00 PM Eastern – “What is ROTC?” with MAJ Jeffrey Dula, Texas Tech University
  •     5:00 PM Eastern “Nursing Careers” with LTC Colette McKinney, Deputy Chief Nurse ROTC
  •     6:00 PM Eastern “Paying for College” with MAJ Steve Duckworth, University of West Florida College Enrollment Officer
  •     7:00 PM Eastern “Choosing a Major, College, and Career” with MAJ Gary Beaty, Texas A&M
  •     8:00 PM Eastern “Q&A Time for Students and Parents” with CPT Aaron Combs, Western Michigan University

“CollegeWeekLive provides us with a way to connect with high school students like never before,” said Major Jeffrey Dula of Texas Tech University’s Army ROTC program. “We’re able to educate thousands of college-bound teens about the Army ROTC program and answer their questions live online, all from the convenience of a home computer.”

About Army ROTC
Army ROTC (Reserve Officers' Training Corps) is one of the best leadership courses in the country and is part of your college curriculum. During classes, leadership labs, physical training and field training exercises, you will learn firsthand what it takes to lead others, motivate groups and conduct missions as an Officer in the Army. Upon graduation from Army ROTC, you will earn the bar of a Second Lieutenant and be commissioned into the Active Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard and become a leader for life.
