F.A.S.T. System to Provide Franchise Full Control over Advertiser Inventory

“We are pleased to partner with Skyview Networks. The inventory management solutions they provide will streamline the process of managing our broadcast inventory system,” said Jim Ross, Senior Vice President, Business Development.

The National Football League’s (NFL) Cleveland Browns and Skyview Networks inked a new multi-year broadcast software contract. Skyview, an integrated professional sports distribution company specializing in play-by-play broadcast systems, will provide its F.A.S.T. Inventory Management Software and Live Read Management Services to the Cleveland Browns. The partnership aims to increase control over advertiser scheduling and to streamline as-played reporting.

“We are pleased to partner with Skyview Networks. The inventory management solutions they provide will streamline the process of managing our broadcast inventory system,” said Jim Ross, Senior Vice President, Business Development. “We have also been impressed with the system’s flexibility and Skyview’s willingness to tailor the program to our specific needs.”

In September 2010, Skyview began installation of the F.A.S.T. Inventory Management System at the franchise’s flagship station, WMMS-FM. The F.A.S.T. system is uniquely tailored to the non-linear format of the play-by-play broadcast and accommodates all components of scheduling, reporting and invoicing of advertising clients. Also included in the contract, Skyview will provide its Live Read Management Services to capture the Cleveland Browns’ on-air advertiser mentions.

“We feel privileged to extend our presence in Ohio with this distinguished franchise,” said Ken Thiele, President of Skyview Networks. “With the F.A.S.T. system and Inventory Management Service, I am confident the franchise will experience an efficient approach to maintaining all components of advertiser scheduling and invoicing. We look forward to building a long relationship with the Browns as we continue to collaborate on play-by-play broadcast solutions.”

The Cleveland Browns radio broadcast hosted by Jim Donovan, Doug Deiken and Jamir Howerton can be heard on flagship station WMMS-FM and its radio network of 21 affiliates. For more information on the Cleveland Brown’s broadcast, visit http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/.
