Jordan Harris, winemaker at Tarara Winery, with members of Cadillac Sky
Good whiskey and good music together probably isn't a stretch, but pair up an organic, batch crafting distillery with an environmental engineer-turned-singer/songwriter and champion of rural America.... Andrew McKnight

Ever wonder what inspires musicians or perhaps, what alcoholic beverages they enjoy? What prompts a person to open a winery, brewery, or distillery? Or even the similarities between musicians and makers of wines, beers, and spirits? MyJoogTV.com attempts to answer these questions through a new video series which pairs musicians with makers of wine, beer, and spirits. The series is a joint venture between Wine-Compass.com; the live music site, MyJoog.com; and Digital Media Generation. Each episode offers an interesting perspective into the life of a musician and a winemaker, brewer, or distiller and concludes with a live performance by the musical guest. The episodes were filmed at some of the most popular establishments in the mid-Atlantic and the musical guests offer a range of musical styles from bluegrass to blues to indie rock. The videos are available for viewing at MyJoogTV.com and down-loadable at iTunes.
The inaugural episode features bluegrass sensation Cadillac Sky visiting Tarara Winery in Leesburg Virginia. The second episode features Holy Ghost Tent Revival touring and tasting at Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick Maryland. Another interesting episode features …soihadto…, the indie rock band which includes Chef Duff Goldman (from the Food Network's Ace of Cakes) tasting beer from Baltimore neighbor, Brewer's Art. And don’t miss Andrew McKnight singing “Letter to Colonel Mosby” while sitting on an oak cask at Catoctin Creek Distilling in Purcellville Virginia.
