Configure Inc., an American IP video surveillance software company, has appointed Mr. Dave Boyce as Vice President of Engineering.

Today ipConfigure announces Dave Boyce has joined the company as VP of Engineering heading up product development and managing support services. Mr. Boyce comes to ipConfigure with more than a decade of software engineering and product management experience to build upon ipConfigure's highly successful enterprise IP video surveillance software platform. "Dave and I have had a long history dating back in 2002 when the company he founded, D3Data, was selected over Milestone XProtect as the software of choice for Atlanta Public Schools. He brings his development skills, deep industry knowledge, and managerial experience required to facilitate our continued growth," said Christopher Uiterwyk, Founder and CEO of ipConfigure.

Prior to joining ipConfigure, Boyce served as the Embedded Multimedia Lead at Microsoft where he was responsible for leading a team of software engineers whose charter was to make new advances in multimedia and security surveillance solutions with the Windows CE Embedded platform. Dave was also the founder of D3Data, a VMS company focused on the development of IP video streaming, recording, and embedded applications.
