Melbourne, FL (PRWEB) December 22, 2010
This year, post-holiday worries over what to do with unwanted electronics can be avoided with the extended e-waste drop off hours at AERC Recycling Solutions and its electronics processing Com-Cycle facilities. Extended dates are available the week following the Holidays from Monday, December 27 to Thursday, December 30.
Throughout the year, individuals and small business owners have the opportunity to recycle small quantities of end-of-life electronics at any AERC facility on Drop-Off Fridays, every Friday from 9AM – 3PM. Larger quantities require a scheduled pick up or delivery date in advance.
All locations will be closed on Friday, December 24 and December 31.
“After the Holidays, people are left to wonder what to do with their old or non-working electronics replaced by new gifts,” said Lindsay Landmesser, VP of Sales and Marketing, AERC Recycling Solutions. “The Drop-Off Friday program is a safe, responsible option to dispose of unwanted electronics.”
AERC facilities are located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Texas and California. Electronic waste acceptable for the Drop-Off Friday Recycling Program includes laptops, cell phones, cameras, hand-held games and gaming consoles, computer monitors, printers, scanners, CPUs, and other electronic equipment. AERC also accepts lamps and batteries during the drop off hours.
AERC Recycling specializes in electronic waste by completely destroying any data that may be contained on all data storage devices collected. AERC adheres to a Zero-Waste-to-Landfill policy for all accepted electronics.
