Affirmations for Women -
Whether they’re suffering from depression, low self-esteem, addiction, or lack of motivation, women need encouragement, resources, and the ongoing support of other women.

Women in the U.S. today are stressed. In a recent national survey, 100% of women reported knowing at least one other woman suffering from holiday stress. Of these respondents, 58% say that they personally know at least 3 or more other women with higher stress levels during this time of year.

The survey also revealed that 58% of women pinpoint their holiday stress to one acute cause: “not enough money.” On the surface, that’s not surprising and is especially relevant these days. But what lies underneath? Sponsors of the independent study,, set out to peel back the layers of today’s woman and go straight at the core issues, and how women can cope. “There’s strength in numbers,” said Anthony Randolph, founder of the site. “Whether they’re suffering from depression, low self-esteem, addiction, or lack of motivation, women need encouragement, resources, and the ongoing support of other women. They were designed to connect on a deeper level—it’s survival.”

The national survey also revealed that the majority of women use positive affirmation, meditations or other self-help activities as a way to cope with their stress. The need for affirmations for women was the inspiration for this month’s launch of the Delicate Woman website, which defines itself as an “emotional nerve center where women can congregate and walk together as they sort through the influences they face on a daily basis.” The site offers powerful affirmations, blog entries, music, videos, chat rooms, articles and other features that will connect, unite and strengthen women everywhere. The content is life-changing and the ability to stand next to other women in similar situations is unprecedented. “Women are smart, resourceful and motivated to help themselves—we want to give them a place to generate inspiration and connect with other women facing the same circumstances,” said Randolph, internationally known musician, artist and composer.

In support of women and the pressures they face, those visiting the Delicate Woman website during the holidays will receive a special gift—a free meditation download from “I Am Beautiful - Affirmations for the Delicate Woman”. This newly released CD offers a different kind of experience that fosters inner contentment through powerful music and positive affirmations for women. Women struggling with issues like depression, loneliness, abuse, addiction and low self esteem can lean on this CD during the holidays— and all year-round. It’s a refuge at their fingertips.

“We understand each other,” said Laura Spiedel, online member of “It’s all the diversity and experience of a large crowd, with the inclusive and confidential feeling of a small group of women connecting over coffee.”

Each woman who visits the site can count on one promise, “to leave with more than they came.” According to one site contributor, “I am both shocked and encouraged to see that most women are pursuing affirmations and positive reinforcement to pull them through the season. My hope is that this site will help them continue on that path.”
