Hyannis, MA (Vocus/PRWEB) December 28, 2010
Cape Cod Media Group has launched its first iPad app, showcasing the high-caliber, award-winning photography of the Cape Cod Times.
CapeCodOnline.com/PIX features a daily gallery of a dozen to two dozen photos, showing a panorama of life on Cape Cod. Users of the iPad app can save photos to their device for use as wallpaper, or can e-mail photos to share with friends and family.
“Our photography is a unique asset for which our online audience has consistently demonstrated an intense appetite,” said Sean Polay, product manager for distributed media for the Dow Jones Local Media Group, parent company of the Cape Cod Media Group. “The iPad is a great medium in which to experience the excellent work of our photographers, and the international draw of Cape Cod means the app will appeal to local residents, regular visitors and prospective vacationers alike.”
The CapeCodOnline.com/PIX app was produced with help from the Dow Jones mobile development team, but the daily galleries are hand-curated by the Cape Cod Times photo staff.
