With the average cost of orthodontic treatment at $5,000, many parents find themselves postponing or giving up on providing braces for their children. This year, parents have a new resource to make orthodontic treatment more affordable, thanks to Smiles Change Lives.
Smiles Change Lives (SCL) is an affordable orthodontic program now serving Coffey, Lyon and Osage counties in Kansas, in partnership with the Walter S. and Evan C. Jones Foundation. SCL is now the administrative agent for the Jones Foundation and is encouraging families to begin applying to the program for assistance in obtaining orthodontic treatment.
