For the fourth consecutive year, American Traveler Staffing Professionals has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. This prestigious award attests to American Traveler’s status as a leading U.S. travel nursing company.

The Joint Commission certification is designed to identify the best healthcare staffing agencies, through a painstaking process that incorporates an on-site review of a travel nursing agency’s compliance with national standards. These standards include a rigorous set of performance measures for staffing services on how they determine the qualification and competency of their staff, as well as how staff is placed, monitored and supported.

“We are extremely proud of our achievements in healthcare staffing sector,” said Robert L. Bok, CEO of American Traveler Staffing Professionals. “Our continuing Joint Commission certification recognizes American Traveler’s dedication to being the best travel nursing agency possible. Our goals are simple: first, to provide our client healthcare facilities with nursing and allied healthcare professionals that are qualified to deliver safe and high-quality care to patients; and second, to ensure that our client travel nurses enjoy a rewarding career by offering them the services and support they need to excel at their jobs.”

The independent, not-for-profit Joint Commission was founded in 1951 to ensure the safety and quality of care provided to the public, through accreditation programs and related services that support continuous performance improvement in healthcare organizations. The Joint Commission evaluates and accredits more than 15,000 healthcare organizations and programs in the United States, including more than 7,800 hospitals and home-care organizations, and more than 7,300 other healthcare operations.
