Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® attempts to submit clients' inventions to companies for review.

Pittsburgh, PA (Vocus) July 21, 2010 -- InventHelp®, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Virginia, has designed a device that could add stability for cane users who are weak or for those who suffer from back problems. This invention is patented.

The Mobility One would eliminate the need to lift a cane repeatedly between steps while walking forward. This device would make it easier to negotiate a narrow hallway or doorway without the struggle associated with walker use. Designed for those who are weak or otherwise unable to use a conventional cane, it would also enable a user to stand from a seated position more easily.

The invention would consist of a cane made from aluminum featuring a rubber hand grip and rubber cane tips. The base of the cane would be cross-shaped for added stability and would feature four tips that contact the ground. While the unit is adjustable, it also would include a pair of wheels, which would allow the individual to roll the cane forward between steps rather than lifting.

InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
