CS Heinz recently won the writing contest at the Greater Philadelphia Christian Writers Conference. The conference featured writers from as far away as London and El Salvador, major publishers such as Zondervan and Harvest House, and agents of award-winning and best-selling authors. Heinz won the “unpublished author, prose” category for his entries entitled, “An Orphan Who Needs A Home” and “Marked By The Cross,” which were based on the conference’s theme, “Write His Answer.”

“I’m so honored and humbled to have won the award at the conference. For me, the conference was both an incredible worship experience and a confirmation of my call to write,” Heinz said.

A former company chaplain and house church pastor, Heinz is now the Director of Marketing for EnergyCAP, Inc. (http://www.EnergyCAP.com), a publisher of the leading energy efficiency software. Heinz writes a weekly message called the Weekly Word, which is timely, personal, and provocative.
