Healthcare Solutions Names Tom Dare Executive Vice President and General Counsel

Atlanta, GA (Vocus) August 19, 2010 -- Healthcare Solutions today announced the appointment of Tom Dare to the position of executive vice president and general counsel. Dare joins the Atlanta-based company with extensive experience in senior management and general counsel positions within the workers’ compensation market. Dare will be responsible for Healthcare Solutions’ legal affairs, including oversight and negotiation of corporate legal agreements and coordination of regulatory, compliance and corporate governance functions. He will also participate as a member of the company’s executive committee.

Most recently Dare worked for CUNA Mutual Group, a leading provider of financial and insurance products and services, where he served as vice president and associate general counsel. He also spent three years with Broadspire, where he held the position of senior vice president and general counsel. Previously, Dare was general counsel for Kemper National Services, a leading managed care organization in the workers’ compensation industry and predecessor company to Broadspire.

Dare is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law where he received a Juris Doctor and earlier received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Grinnell College. Dare sat on the board of directors for URAC from 2000-2006 and served as an adjunct professor for Nova Southeastern University Sheppard Broad Law Center from 2002- 2006.
