All Romance eBooks Proves They Have Heart by Going Red

All Romance eBooks™ (ARe) has formed a Go Red for Women team in support of the American Heart Association’s (AHA) National Wear Red Day. In an effort to increase awareness and encourage donations, the online eBook retailer will be issuing special heart-healthy editions of their Wildfire newsletter during the month of February and launching their much awaited 28 Days of Heart series -- releasing one new romance eBook daily for twenty-eight days with proceeds from the sales going to the AHA.

During the month of love, when everyone's attention is focused on matters of the heart, ARe is raising awareness and money to help the AHA fight the number one killer of women, heart disease.

Step one is the release of ARe’s 28 Days of Heart series, twenty-eight novellas that will be offered exclusively on AllRomance.com and OmniLit.com as individual eBooks. The stories span romance genres, from Gay to Interracial, Paranormal to Historical, Contemporary to Sci Fi. They were generously donated by both best selling and up-and-coming authors who write for publishers such as Kensington, Berkley, Pocket, St. Martin’s Press, Ellora’s Cave, Cerridwen, Samhain, Total E Bound, Loose Id, Phaze, Liquid Silver, Torquere Press, Siren, Amber Quill and more.

Each story includes a foreword written by New York Times bestselling author Charlaine Harris (of the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire series, AKA True Blood fame) as a show of support for the charity the stories will benefit. “Nothing’s better than a healthy heart, which helps women endure the ailments of life—physical or romantic—and come out on top of it all,” says Charlaine. Preorders began pouring in the moment the eBooks were listed on the site, allowing the ARe Go Red for Women team to begin raising money immediately for the campaign.

ARe is offering additional opportunities for those wishing to learn more or help with the effort. Besides purchasing the novellas, readers can enjoy special heart-healthy tips this month by subscribing to the free Wildfire newsletter via the company’s websites or join ARe’s Go Red for Women team. No monetary donation is necessary. To join the team all one need do is sign up and pledge to dress in the color red on Friday, February 5, 2010 for National Wear Red Day and encourage others to do the same.

Those who wish can upload a picture of themselves dressed in red to ARe’s Facebook Fan Page, which will be running a contest to thank participants. One winner will be selected at random on Monday, February 8, 2010. The prize is a complete set of the 28 Days of Heart novellas.
