SmartSource Computer & Audio Visual Rentals (Hauppauge, NY), one of the nation’s leading providers of computer, audio visual (AV) and trade show technology rentals and services, announced the opening of a new branch in New Orleans. The new branch brings the total number of U.S. branches for SmartSource, a portfolio company of Kirtland Capital Partners (Cleveland, OH), to 23 locations.

SmartSource President & CEO Michael McClernon noted that “The opening of a branch in New Orleans, one of the nation’s premier sites for trade shows and conventions, was a direct response to the needs of our national client base. For Casteix, whose career also includes serving with Rentsys, a company which SmartSource acquired this past October 2009, joining SmartSource provides a new level of opportunity.
