As spring approaches and the snowpack continue to build it’s never too soon to think about the upcoming Aspen whitewater season and an Aspen raft trip. With current snowpack levels of 90 percent in the Roaring Fork Basin and NOAA forecasts for above average precipitation for March, April and May, this rafting season is setting up to be a great one.
Aspen Whitewater Rafting (AWR) is taking reservations and is now offering a ten percent savings for any trips booked before May 15. AWR is going into their seventh season and have been guiding on local rivers for more than 20 years.
“It’s exciting to see the snowpack building and we can’t wait to get out on the water,” said Jim Ingram, President, Aspen Whitewater rafting. “We have reservations coming in now and we encourage anyone who wants to get on the water this summer to book early to get the best deals.”
AWR runs a wide range of rafting and inflatable kayak trips from mild floats to exhilarating whitewater; from Class II to V on the Roaring Fork and Arkansas Rivers. Letting you raft Aspen however you want! Located in downtown Aspen, Colorado at 520 East Durant Avenue, AWR is in the middle of the Colorado Rockies and is a summer sportsman’s paradise.
