This is one simple way to give a heartfelt 'Thank you!' to members of our military.

The Historic Freeport Bed and Breakfasts are excited to announce their participation in the international 'B&B's for Vets' program taking place this November 10th.

B&B's for Vets was started last year in West Virginia but achieved critical mass in 2010 when over 400 B&B's in the US and Canada signed on to honor US military veterans and active military personnel by donating a complimentary night's stay on November 10, 2010.

In addition to the free night's stay at any of the participating B&B's, the Historic Freeport B&B's have also worked with local Freeport restaurants to offer a complimentary dinner for the serviceperson at one of these Freeport restaurants: Azure Cafe, Jameson Tavern or Gritty's Freeport Brew Pub.

The owners of the participating B&B's and restaurants are offering the complimentary night's stay and dinner as a simple 'Thank you!' to those who are or who have served in the US military.

To make a reservation, contact the individual participating B&B directly. (Proof of service is required.) A coupon for the free dinner will be presented at time of check-in at the B&B.
