Disney World is celebrating the spooky season with an elaborate month-long Halloween bash catering for children of all ages, Florida Holiday specialists Ocean Florida are pleased to announce. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place from 14 September to 1 November, running from 7pm to midnight most nights, filling the entire park with family-friendly spookiness. What’s more, those booking Florida villa holidays in the Orlando area with Ocean Florida will find they’re only 20 minutes away from the park.
Parents and children alike are invited to dress in Halloween costume and go trick-or-treating with their favourite Disney Characters. In addition to the park’s standard attractions, the Halloween Party includes a special Mickey’s ‘Boo-to-You’ Halloween Parade, which kicks off with the Headless Horseman riding through the park, and features trick-or-treating Disney characters and the stars of the Haunted Mansion attraction. Then there’s the Happy HalloWishes fireworks display, which the park describes as ‘a spectacular show where the Disney Villains go trick-or-treating in the sky’.
Harry Hastings, director of Florida holiday specialists Ocean Florida says: “Halloween really is a magical time to visit the theme parks of Orlando and Walt Disney World. With both the fantastic festive celebrations and the October half term, it’s a great opportunity for families to revel in the fun of it all.”
