Recipe for a Happy Life

Readers will learn to] believe in God and leave the consequences to Him

In this world, people grow up to become a certain kind of person based on factors such as family influence, peer pressure, and the choices they make. God gave believers a map for a happy life—Jesus Christ, and His teachings about heaven and salvation—to help guide them on their way. Too often, people stray from this roadmap, becoming lost and disoriented on their life journey. But by simply following the instructions God gave them, people will see how very simple life can be. Within the pages of George Chichester’s new release, Recipe for a Happy Life: The Main Ingredient Is God…Then Add a Lot of Love ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-782-0), readers will find the story of a man who relied on a loving God to guide him through all of his days.

“Readers will learn to] believe in God and leave the consequences to Him,” the author says of his hopes for the book. “(They will see) how simple and beautiful life can be when you believe and trust God. If you are not as happy as you’d like to be, try it our way. I think you will be very happy with your choice.”

Born into a family of 12 children, Chichester says he lived a simple life full of love and happiness. This story gives many of the details in regard to the way he grew up and the choices he made. He also tells about the influence of his brothers and sisters and reveals how God led him in the choices that he made each day. “I do not profess to be perfect by any means, but I did have a beautiful and happy life,” the author says. “To this very day I still feel the same way.”

George Chichester currently resides in Middleburgh, New York.
