HYSTERIA: Celebrating 10 Years of serving women in our community is the 3rd biennial benefit of the Women’s Community Clinic. The event will take place May 6, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco. This fun event will benefit the Clinic and their programs that support uninsured and underinsured Bay Area women and girls.
HYSTERIA will feature a performance by comedian Maria Bamford, one of Variety’s Top Ten Comics to Watch, as well as a reception featuring gourmet food, exquisite wines from local vintners Kathryn Kennedy and Lola Kay, and extraordinary silent auction items. Tickets are $100 and include an exclusive gift bag.
The Honorary Event Chair is San Francisco’s First Lady and actor, Jennifer Siebel Newsom. Honorary Committee members include: Margaret Cho, Actor and Comedian; Catherine Dodd, Interim Director, Health Service System San Francisco; Barbara Engmann, RN, Community Advocate; Mark Leno, California State Senator; Jerry Mapp, President Emeritus, California Pacific Medical Center Foundation; Nancy Milliken, M.D., Director of UCSF Women’s Health, Ross Mirkarimi, San Francisco Supervisor and Diane B.
