The Sales and Marketing teams of more than 3,000 Marriott Hotels worldwide compete in this awards ceremony every year. The awards presentation was held in Washington, D.C.

The awards take into account the following criteria: performance, outcome, teamwork, leadership and strategy. The Sales Leadership Awards recognize the best performance of a Sales and Marketing team. The JW Marriott Hotel Lima received two regional awards as well as being internationally recognized for its Reservation Sales team.
