Even though times might be tight for many of us, the family vacation is still something we look forward to. Spending quality time with your family doesn’t have to mean spending a lot of money or traveling to exotic places
Grand Haven, MI (Vocus) May 24, 2010
Lake Trust Credit Union will make a big splash in Grand Haven this summer as the 2010 Waterfront Stage sponsor at the Coast Guard Festival being held from July 30 to August 8. During the festival’s ten days, more than 10,000 visitors will be entertained at Waterfront Stadium with acts such as Three Men and a Tenor, a musical tribute to The Four Seasons, the famously comical Scottville Clown Band, and what has been described as "The best fireworks display in Michigan."
“The Waterfront Stage is the heart of the festival,” said Brandon Steury, Branch Manager at Lake Trust Credit Union’s Grand Haven branch, located at 16916 Robbins Road. “It offers entertainment options for everyone at economical prices, making it possible for families to enjoy time together without straining the budget.”
The Festival’s average attendance of 100,000 has continued to rise over the last several years and has been attributed to the low cost and recent popularity of staycations – vacations centered on relaxing at home and taking day trips to area attractions.
“Even though times might be tight for many of us, the family vacation is still something we look forward to. Spending quality time with your family doesn’t have to mean spending a lot of money or traveling to exotic places,” Steury said.
“We believe it’s important to give back to the people and neighborhoods that support us through active involvement and sponsoring events that contribute to a healthy community. Our partnership with the Coast Guard Festival not only supports Grand Haven’s economy, but the entire region really.”
Lake Trust Credit Union members can pick up $1.00 off festival ticket coupons at any of its 21 branch locations starting in July. Visit the Waterfront Stage 2010 Schedule to see the full entertainment lineup.
