First and foremost, my book will lead readers to the Lord
Longwood, FL (Vocus) April 23, 2010
Within the pages of author Terry L. Rath’s new release, The Thoughts and Dreams of a Wanderer ($24.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-895-7), is a collection of poems consisting of a lifetime of people, places, experiences, journeys, and interactions. This masterful book celebrates Rath’s life through the wonder of God and the grace of Jesus Christ—and it features verses that praise the creation of the Lord, family moments, people and places, travel, books and music, and reflections on life.
“First and foremost, my book will lead readers to the Lord,” the author says. “Also, they will gain an enjoyment of life all around them each day and the bonding love of family.”
Rath and his wife, Sandy, have traveled to most of the states, as well as Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Each locale has had its unique effect on his inspiration to write, and the thousands of people he has been in contact with over the years have also been a major contributor to his poetry. Above all, he credits God for supplying all things necessary to complete this collection. “I felt strongly led by the Lord to release my work in published form, for I would never have done it otherwise,” he explains.
Terry L. Rath currently resides in Littleton, Colorado.
