Keyphraseology, the SEO Consulting business of Lindsay Wassell, is offering one lucky non-profit organization with a pro bono SEO Audit & Consulting package valued at $14K.

"We've been looking for a way to give back and have a positive impact. We considered volunteering on-site at a local charity but in the end decided that the best way to make a difference is to do what we do best, and that is SEO," said Wassell, Owner & Lead SEO Consultant of Keyphraseology.

The selected organization can look forward to a nice boost in website traffic to increase awareness for their cause. The pro bono offering is for a full SEO Audit and several on-going phone support hours. It includes analysis and recommendations on important website factors such as on-page elements, URL conventions, inbound links and other indicators of web popularity, crawl-ability, and vertical search opportunities like Google News. This is the same SEO Audit that Fortune 500s have leveraged to grow search engine traffic.

"The organization and cause we select will be one that we can truly stand behind. We're excited to bring visibility to something that honestly deserves the attention," said Wassell.

US based 501(c) non-profit organizations are invited to apply online at the Keyphraseology website by November 30, 2010. The selected organization will be announced on December 7 via the Keyphraseology blog.

Search Engine Optimization is the process of improving a website's visibility in search engines, like Google. Improved search engine visibility drives an increase in website visitors, a goal for most any website. SEO requires a solid understanding of the target market and what they are searching for online and in-depth knowledge of how the search engines operate. A website's code, content and popularity across the web all play a critical part in how it shows up in the search engines.
