AKRON, OHIO (PRWEB) April 14, 2010
Sports web site CMS developer Sports Reporting Technologies has announced the launch of new modules of its SportSiteWare™ high school sports reporting CMS platform for several springtime sports as well as a fan photo module.
The Akron-based company unveiled reporting modules for baseball, softball, track and field, including game schedules, game results, team and individual statistics, and complete story reporting features including photos, audio and video. Additionally, the site’s new fan photos module enables site visitors to post their own high school sport photos directly to a SportSiteWare™ site.
The new modules currently are in full use on the company’s pilot site – http://www.sportsink.com.
“The launch of these modules ostensibly completes our first-year goal of providing a comprehensive platform for high school sports reporting, with modules for 15 varsity high school sports, game schedule and results modules, team and player statistics, and multi-media components,” said President Angela Charles.
Designed as a turnkey CMS system for online media companies, SportSiteWare™ enables media companies and sports writing entrepreneurs to select the geography, sports or conferences they wish to cover. The company’s pilot site currently covers 15 varsity high school sports at 35 high schools in four sport conferences in Summit and Medina counties in Ohio.
Additionally, the SportSiteWare™ CMS provides a fully functional advertising module for revenue generation.
Sports Reporting Technologies has begun taking orders for its platform for the 2010-2011 high school sport season. The company said its system is not only very affordable for media companies and sports writing entrepreneurs, but also is easy to implement and operate.
