Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) August 31, 2010

Just in time for Halloween, the highly-anticipated, classic-styled thriller Amhurst debuts exclusively on DVD October 19 from Hourglass Pictures and Passion River Films.

Reeling from a marriage on the brink, Rebecca Cabot (Amy Tiehel), along with her two young children, Alex (Alec Hogan) and Jessie (Stephanie Hullar), travel back to her childhood home where she will confront the horrors of her young life and the fifteen year old mystery of her twin sister's disappearance. She plans to attend her grandfather's funeral, settle his estate and get out, but the secrets of her dark past in Amhurst are about to be resurrected. And now Rebecca finds herself caught in a nightmare she and her family may not survive in this horror film directed by filmmaker Rocky Costanzo (Hallowed). Amhurst was described as "Genuinely Creepy Viewing" from Entertainment Insiders.

Available as a single-disc DVD. The first 1,000 units will be the Unrated Limited Premiere Editions with alternate artwork printed on an O-card for the suggested retail price of $22.98 U.S. and $26.98 CAN. You can find out more about AMHURST and its DVD at the movie’s Facebook page.
