The Inferno Orange Metallic is the only GM approved 1:18 scale replica of the new Camaro SS in that color.
Petaluma, CA (PRWEB) November 10, 2010
Camaro enthusiasts can now own a replica of the new Camaro in their favorite color. Inferno Orange Metallic was one of the ten original exterior color options on the new 2010 Camaro and one of the most popular. This is the first in a series of exterior color Camaro diecast to be introduced by ChevyMall over the coming months.
“Our customers kept telling us that they wanted a diecast of the new Camaro in the exterior color of their car, not just the standard toy colors in which die cast replica’s are usually produced,” stated Mr. Jim Meyer, Managing Director of Mall Services Group. “We did a survey of the ChevyMall customers in April 2010 asking them which exterior colors they would like to see offered. The response was very strong and it was clear that the Inferno Orange Metallic color was the first choice of Camaro enthusiasts.”
The diecast replica is being produced by JADA Toys Inc. It is the same tooling that was used for the 1:18 Camaro SS introduced into the market in the fall of 2009. The features include opening doors, hood, and trunk as well as a black interior. The Inferno Orange Metallic is the only GM approved 1:18 scale replica of the new Camaro SS in that color.
Priced at $44.95 FOB Petaluma, CA; the 1:18 Camaro SS Inferno Orange Diecast will begin shipping late November 2010. This is a limited edition production of only 3,000 pieces and will initially only be available at the ChevyMall e-commerce site, http://www.chevymall.com.
