One of the summer field hockey camp leaders Revolution Field Hockey has published their 2011 summer field hockey camp schedule. Over 1,500 field hockey players attend these camps annually to get better, make friends, and have fun. Overnight and day field hockey camps are offered.
The Revolution Field Hockey Camps have a unique balance between instruction and game play at their camps, providing campers with the opportunity to learn new skills while also gaining important game experience. Lafayette College Head Coach Andrew Griffiths, formerly of Team Canada Field Hockey and Revolution Field Hockey Camps Director, says “summer field hockey camp provides a great opportunity for each player to improve their individual skills in a learning environment and test those skills in game type conditions. Campers will leave the camp with the confidence to apply what they have learned to their fall season of field hockey.”
Field hockey is considered one of the fastest growing sports in the country. We try to give our campers an amazing experience with both learning and fun allows them to improve their skills and have fun. Many coaches appreciate the role that camp plays in the development of individual junior field hockey players. The repetition that each person received while at camp really helps to create the proper habits on the field. As Revolution Field Hockey Camps President Keri Hostetler stated, "Our goal is to make sure each camper learns the proper technique and leaves camp with a greater confidence in their field hockey game." As the Revolution Field Hockey Camps have grown, we have found it necessary to add more locations to accommodate our families desire to attend multiple camps.
