This was a unique promotion for the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Where else but at Lake of the Torches could you dine on as many delicious Maine lobsters as you can eat for only $19.95!
Lac du Flambeau, Wis. (Vocus) April 5, 2010
March was Lobsterpalooza month at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino’s Eagles Nest Restaurant as staff served an astounding four tons of Maine Lobster as part of a $19.95 All-You-Can-Eat lobster special for Club Advantage members on Wednesday nights. If anyone is counting, that is over 8,000 pounds of lobster in one month.
A total of over 2,500 guests flocked to the restaurant every Wednesday night in March to dine on the succulent seafood treasure, by far exceeding expectations of the casino staff and management. In addition to the staggering four tons of lobster served, nearly 300 pounds of butter were melted and used as a condiment. Lake of the Torches new Food and Beverage Director Rich Smith and Director of Marketing Michael J. Broderick coordinated the concept and planning for the promotion.
“It was absolutely amazing the response we received from our guests and the public. I talked to guests who drove more than two hours just to come up and take advantage of our incredible offer. And even more incredible, our hotel was completely filled on these nights as guests made a special trip just to feast on Maine lobster,” Smith said.
During the promotion, guests were able to order as many whole Maine Lobsters as they wanted for the special price of $19.95. All they had to be was members of the casino’s players club, Club Advantage. If the customers weren’t already members, they could sign up that night. Club Advantage membership is free. “This was a unique promotion for the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Where else but at Lake of the Torches could you dine on as many delicious Maine lobsters as you can eat for only $19.95!” remarked Smith.
Even if you missed the All-You-Can-Eat Maine Lobster special during March, guests can enjoy a Two For $20 All-You-Can-Eat dinner buffet special where two guests can eat for only 20 bucks! This promotion will be available Mondays – Thursdays from April 5 to May 27 in the Eagles Nest. The dinner buffet includes salads, soups, mouth-watering entrée dishes and cut to order prime rib along with your choice of coffee, tea or soda. Buffet hours are 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Just like the lobster promotion, in order to participate in Two for $20 you must be a Club Advantage member.
