A total of over 2,500 guests flocked to the restaurant every Wednesday night in March to dine on the succulent seafood treasure, by far exceeding expectations of the casino staff and management. In addition to the staggering four tons of lobster served, nearly 300 pounds of butter were melted and used as a condiment. Lake of the Torches new Food and Beverage Director Rich Smith and Director of Marketing Michael J. Broderick coordinated the concept and planning for the promotion.

“It was absolutely amazing the response we received from our guests and the public. I talked to guests who drove more than two hours just to come up and take advantage of our incredible offer. And even more incredible, our hotel was completely filled on these nights as guests made a special trip just to feast on Maine lobster,” Smith said.

During the promotion, guests were able to order as many whole Maine Lobsters as they wanted for the special price of $19.95. All they had to be was members of the casino’s players club, Club Advantage. If the customers weren’t already members, they could sign up that night. Club Advantage membership is free. “This was a unique promotion for the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
