Paradigm Learning received a 2010 W³ Silver Award from the International Academy of the Visual Arts for outstanding interactive website development. The W³ Awards honored Paradigm Learning and some of the best interactive agencies, designers and creators worldwide, selected from more than 3,000 entrants.

Paradigm Learning, a leader in corporate education and communications, worked with Share Our Strength® and ConAgra Foods® Foundation to develop a Discovery Map®, a colorful, graphically intriguing and content-rich illustration. The partnership’s map visually communicates issues related to childhood hunger in the United States. The Discovery Map was then formatted for use on the web.

The interactive website garnered the team its W³ Award reflected the key message of the Share Our Strength organization, which is to capture the hearts, minds, support and commitment of lobbyists and government officials, the public at large, community and religious organizations, and corporations and other sponsors.

Based on recent research that suggests people learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process. The winning interactive website leveraged the advantages of discovery learning to convey more effectively the needs of hungry children and the steps that anyone can take to help.

Share Our Strength and the ConAgra Foods Foundation are among the leaders in the fight against childhood hunger.
