In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, comedian and actor Jamie Kennedy told a story about how he became subject of his friends' ridicule, after one childhood Christmas when his mother gave him a bottle of women’s perfume.

Kennedy was recently in the news, filing a pending lawsuit with Yoostar.com (L.A. Superior Court Case# BC451531) over breach of contract. A HAHAJK.com staff reporter caught up with Kennedy and asked him to give us more of the details.

“I wanted some cologne for Christmas, for the ladies and my mom bought me a bottle of Exclamation… which is for girls,” he said.

Kennedy claims that his mother thought that men wore cologne and women wore perfume, so it was an easy mistake. “That’s what I thought too! Why would it say cologne on it, if a woman was going to put it on? Men wear cologne, and woman wear perfume, right?!" he questioned. "The only women that wear cologne have d*cks underneath their skirts and a five o’clock shadow.”

Currently starring in his comedy special, “Uncomfortable” on Showtime, Kennedy claims he had begged his parents to help him smell better over the holidays and that he proudly and unknowingly wore the scent for months, until someone finally said something.

“It smells good. You like it on girls why wouldn’t you like it on yourself? I was like, ‘D*mn I smell good! When I would wake up in the morning it was like a girl had been in my bed all night, but it was just me. I love Exclamation!”

It was inevitably a girlfriend who told Kennedy that he was wearing the women’s perfume. “I wore it for about six months and then a girl finally told me, 'You smell just like me.' It was another year before anyone told me about the lip gloss, body glitter, and hair scrunchie that I was wearing. I don’t have any explanation for those," he said.

In addition to his Showtime comedy special, “Uncomfortable,” Kennedy is touring the country performing stand-up comedy, filming several projects and is co-founder and a contributor for the humor based news website HAHAJK.com.
