Grammy winner Patti Austin, ADPublishing.org and XtremeSignPost join with the Right to Succeed Foundation to support National School Choice Week. Ms. Austin will host an evening of entertainment at the “Get Real about Education Musical Town Hall,” an event to inspire a vision for the future of Dallas area public schools. Performing with Patti will be the Matt Wilson Band, numerous local artists and inspirational speakers. Ms. Austin will premiere songs from her new CD titled “Sound Advice.”
The event will also mark the launch of the Dallas Chapter of Right to Succeed, an effort to transform public education in the Dallas area and cut the dropout rate in half over the next five years. This free family event is open to all ages. It will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011, at 7:00 p.m., at the Life School of Dallas at 4400 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX.
“The choice is clear. Standing on the sidelines is not an option. We must collectively advance mentoring and education in America if we are to ensure our future,” said Patti Austin. “With two daughters in Jr. High this year, I’ve seen the positive results of a strong public school system with choice. Audiences who attend the Get Real Musical Town Hall will be given an opportunity to send their digital message of hope to the President. Through a revolutionary mobile, social, entertainment experience network, RFID enabled postcards (“Bulacards”) will be physically and digitally signed by participants. The Bulacards will then be collected and presented in Washington, D.C. in an once-in-a-lifetime video montage, the “Million Mentor March,” representing the collective concerns of the people.

Communities must make it a priority to visit these great school models and bring them into their community."
