“ railings are as much an expression of the homeowner or architects style, as they are function.” - Doug Lunde, President
(PRWEB) January 23, 2011
Under new owner Doug Lunde, Railcraft’s Head Office, plant and personnel will remain in place at their current location in Surrey, BC Canada, proving uninterrupted service to their customers across North America.
Mr. Lunde was searching for an opportunity where he could implement his successful formula of finding good companies with good products that were in need of revitalization , while at the same time utilizing his substantial experience in the industries of forestry and logistics.
As Doug explains, “When I first looked at Railcraft, and as I dug deeper into the operational side of the plant, I saw many similarities to a lumber mill.” Given his experience operating a large scale mill, Doug immediately perceived the “challenges in the input of raw materials, processing them and ultimately producing a finished, high end Architectural product. After all,” Doug goes on to say, “railings are as much an expression of the homeowner or architects style, as they are function.”
Knowing that a great product is only half way there, Doug has searched out previous, high knowledge employees that were lost under the old Company to entice them back and bring the Customer service levels back to where they must be. Additionally Mr. Lunde has invested further in a thorough inspection of all equipment and performed any necessary maintenance in order to bring the plant back up to full production capacity, as well as establishing an experienced marketing team.
Doug passionately states, “We are here to tell our customers that we value your business, are here to stay, and are ready to support you with whatever you may need, so that, as the US economy recovers, we are successful together.”
