Vintage Tub & Bath, a successful internet home improvement retailer located in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania has started out the New Year with exposure in the national spotlight. Elegant clawfoot tubs, one of the main product lines featured at Vintage Tub & Bath have been the focal point on two nationally-televised programs.
The acrylic version of the 72-inch double-slipper clawfoot tub was one of the prizes awarded on the January 3, 2011 episode of ABC’s Regis and Kelly show for their Spa-Tacular Contest. The double-slipper tub was selected as a prize because of its quality and relaxing design. The double-sided high-back clawfoot tub offers six feet of pampering in luxurious style.
The cast-iron version of the 72-inch double slipper clawfoot tub was selected as the focal point in a bathroom makeover in a Montclair, New Jersey home. On the January 15 episode of Dear Genevieve on the HGTV network, Trevor and Gerthy’s bathroom makeover was broadcast. The professional installers from Vintage Tub & Bath positioned a cast iron double slipper clawfoot tub as part of the bathroom remodel featured on the HGTV weekly program. “This is a tub you could soak in all day!” was the exclamation of the homeowners when they saw their new vintage tub, as was seen on the broadcast.
In the HGTV Dear Genevieve show, the clawfoot tub was selected to transform the old bathroom into a Turkish-style lavish getaway in Trevor and Gerthy’s bathroom makeover. The episode is scheduled to be rebroadcast on January 29 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
“The 72-inch double slipper tub is the signature piece in the clawfoot line,” explained Dawn Bobeck, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Vintage Tub & Bath. “It’s interesting that Regis and Kelly chose the acrylic version while Dear Genevieve (HGTV) chose the cast-iron version of the same tub! We are so excited to be part of these programs and there’s so much more to come!”
