Many St. Louis families enjoy the wonderful free family-friendly options the city has available. FrugaLouis, a new St. Louis website geared toward families, works to take full advantage of these wonderful freebies as well as inform readers of lesser-known free or inexpensive choices in the area.

A new website has launched in the St. Louis area that offers a one-stop spot for free and cheap family-friendly happenings and local daily deals. FrugaLouis, founded in July 2010, and entirely reformatted in early 2011, features blog posts each weekday, as well as a calendar listing of inexpensive area events of interest to families. Daily blog posts include summaries of "Groupon-type" deals; area park reviews; information on free community concerts, festivals, and other events of interest to families; home management tips; advice on how to get the best deals at area attractions; reviews of area resale shops; St. Louis restaurant deals; and more!

No longer do St. Louis area families need to search multiple community calendars or wade through their email inboxes to find the best deals. FrugaLouis does that work for them and provides the information in an easy-to-navigate format on the website http://www.frugalouis.com. FrugaLouis founder and mother of two young children, Susan Johnson, explains, "My husband and I often had people asking us how we found out about area deals and free events, so I decided to create FrugaLouis as a means of sharing this information. I use our family to gauge what to include on the site: if we would be interested, then chances are many others with children at home would be as well." St. Louis families who want to take advantage of all FrugaLouis has to offer can get free email updates, subscribe via RSS, and/or follow FrugaLouis on Facebook or Twitter.

FrugaLouis: St. Louis. Frugal. Family. Fun. The St. Louis area's one place to turn for inexpensive family fun options. The city has so much to offer for families.
