NextLevel Training, maker of the SIRT Training Pistol™, is expanding its product line with the new SIRT-AR Bolt, as well an updated version of its original SIRT Training Pistol. The bolt in an AR-15 upper can be replaced with the NextLevel Training SIRT-AR Bolt to convert it to dry fire in less than 20 seconds.

“The SIRT-AR Bolt has a powerful green laser that activates from the trigger in your lower and shoots down the barrel of your upper,” explains NextLevel Training founder and IPSC Grand Master Shooter Mike Hughes. “The green laser is adjustable through the ejector port to align with your sights/optics.”

Just like the original SIRT pistol, the SIRT-AR has a Shot Indicating Resetting Trigger that allows for more trigger pulls during training, and a green shot-indicating laser also makes dry fire more rewarding, productive, and fun, according to Hughes.

NextLevel Training also offers an updated, 2011 version of its original dry-fire pistol.

“We’ve seen an explosion of SIRT Pistol training use in scenarios, force-on-force training, and defensive tactics,” said Hughes. “Because of this, we felt the need for a design update to help to distinguish the SIRT from live fire devices, without compromising the training effect.”

The newly designed SIRT Pistol has unique, sharp-edged bevels, as well as distinctive coloration choices, that make it more identifiable as a dry fire device without sacrificing sight picture, according to Hughes.

The SIRT-AR will be available for purchase later in 2011, and interested parties can preview its capabilities in the video section of NextLevel Training’s website at http://www.nextleveltraining.com/video. The 2011 SIRT Training Pistol is available now on the company’s website.
