The NonProfit National Resource Directory is now NonProfit Direct: The NonProfit National Resource Directory. Starting out two years ago as a listing of consultants, coaches, vendors and specialists serving the nonprofit sector, NonProfit Direct has added twice monthly teleseminars, a monthly e-newsletter, a resource library in conjunction with Idea Encore, and now, a membership for nonprofit organizations of all sizes.

Marcia Bloomberg, CEO of The Bloomberg Group which oversees NonProfit Direct, is especially excited about the new membership option.

“Having access to all of our teleseminars is a terrific benefit. And I am just stunned at the generosity of our listed specialists who have stepped up to offer thousands of dollars worth of discounts on their services, and in some cases, are offering their initial services for free. Our listed specialists did not hesitate to participate in the nonprofit membership benefit package. They are really dedicated to helping the nonprofit sector thrive.”

Worth more than $2,000 in benefits, the nonprofit membership package includes access to 20+ teleseminars offered annually by NonProfit Direct. Also included is a monthly Mastermind group for nonprofit leadership, leadership coaching for a member of the executive staff and free consulting and discounts from many of the specialists listed in NonProfit Direct’s consultant directory.

The documents include material about grant writing, fund-raising, starting a nonprofit, risk management, board governance and more.

Since June 2009 NonProfit Direct has offered teleseminars for nonprofits featuring listed specialists as presenters on such topics as recruiting and retaining board members, enhancing an organization’s website, and preparing for a capital campaign. A list of upcoming teleseminars (teleseminar fee $15) is available at http://www.nonprofit-direct.com/teleseminars.

Bloomberg believes “The work of the nonprofit sector is essential to the well-being of our society. Millions of Americans rely on you to provide services that support their physical and mental health, their educational aspirations, their religious and spiritual needs, their quest for happiness and fulfillment, their hopes and dreams for themselves, their families and their communities. In NonProfit Direct you will find those who will partner with you as you guide your organization into the future.”
