Videowall and large format display expert PSCo is partnering with the The Screen in support of their new LoveContent initiative, aimed at showcasing inspiring creative and exciting content for the digital out-of-home market.
LoveContent will be introduced to the European digital out-of-home and AV industries at ISE 2011, where PSCo will be supplying the iconic 103” Panasonic plasma as the centerpiece for the gallery (situated in Hall 10 at Booth 0124), along with four 50” plasmas.
PSCo’s Managing Director, Stuart Holmes explains; “LoveContent approached us primarily because our portfolio includes the best and latest display technologies, perfect for bringing all this fantastic content to life. Content is key in terms of using these incredible digital displays to their full potential, and the LoveContent initiative is a great way to encourage and inspire agencies and brands to establish more engaging, effective ways to use this increasingly popular advertising medium. I have no doubt that the LoveContent showcase will be one of the talking points of ISE this year.”
“We’re delighted to be working with PSCo,” adds Lisa Goldstein, Events Director at The Screen, “Great content needs great displays - and PSCo’s displays have given us a truly show-stopping presence at ISE.”
The LoveContent Gallery will be one of the key Digital Signage features at ISE 2011, held at the RAI in Amsterdam on 1st-3rd February. Launched by DOOH thought-leadership and events group, The Screen and supported by LoveContent sponsors Spafax and Digital View - the LoveContent Gallery is both an online resource and a physical touring showcase. Open to all creatives working in the space, the gallery aims to provide a platform to promote and celebrate the growing dynamism of the digital campaign work from across this new innovative medium.
After ISE the LoveContent Gallery will continue to tour all the major shows - with a large presence and awards ceremony at ScreenMedia Expo 2011.
The digital signage industry may well be built on technology - but it is 100% dependent on great content to succeed. With almost no limit to what can be done with screens and technology - The Screen is turning its focus to the creatives for the next stage of the industry’s development.
The Screen has created the LOVE CONTENT Gallery online (http://www.lovecontent.org) to showcase, promote and celebrate this growing body of amazing work. To ensure the LOVE CONTENT gallery reaches the widest possible audience, it will exist not just online - but also as a traveling showcase with a physical digital screen gallery at key industry events.
Helping The Screen curate the LOVE CONTENT gallery will be a panel of digital out-of-home industry experts under the watchful eye of London’s leading DOOH creative agency Grand Visual. The panel members are: Niall McBain (CEO, Spafax), Eric Penot (Digital Media Director at JCDecaux), Paul Banham (Digital Creative Director, JWT), Nicole Yershon (Director Of Innovative Solutions, Ogilvy), Lisa Rokny (Head of Digital Commercial Development, CBS Outdoor), Carolyn Nugent (UK Head of Digital, Kinetic), Mike Blackman (Managing Director, Integrated Systems Events) and Richard Cobbold (Chairman, The Screen).
