Trayport, provider of trading technology to energy traders, brokers and exchanges worldwide, today announced the appointment of Combie Cryan as Head of Client Services. Mr. Cryan will also take a position on Trayport's management team.
Combie Cryan will manage client relationships and service delivery of trading solutions to Trayport’s trading, broking and exchange clients. This includes growing sales to and relationships with Trayport’s rapidly expanding global customer base.
Elliott Piggott, Trayport’s Chief Executive Officer, says, “Combie's appointment is an important one for our customers. Our business is built on the long-term stability of our products and the quality of our service. Combie's experience will be a vital part of ensuring we continue to improve on this. ”
Prior to joining Trayport, Combie headed business development for NYSE Euronext’s cash equities and derivatives global data businesses. He also created and ran the New Zealand Exchange’s ‘high growth’ business units including market data, indices, fund management and agri-commodities and has previously worked for Goldman Sachs International in London and ABN Amro Futures in Sydney, and spent many years at the London Stock Exchange. He has a B.Comm in Finance from University College Dublin and MSc in Finance from Queens University Belfast.
