Relatrix introduced its new EZPartner module today at the Effective Education Partnership Conference in Austin, Texas. EZPartner helps K-12 districts connect their business community and schools to provide students with real-world experience in the workplace of the future. Organizations and their employees can post offers across a spectrum of resource categories and schools can post requests based on classroom and student needs. EZPartner helps to match these offers and requests and track the outcomes of the activities undertaken when schools and business partners connect.

Relatrix, the leader in Online Contact Center solutions for the K-12 education market, presents its new module, EZPartner, today at the Texas Association of Partners in Education (TAPE), Effective Education Partnerships Conference in Austin, TX. Co-presenting with Relatrix’ President, Mark Franke, is Kris Cord, Poudre School District (PSD) partnership and volunteer coordinator from Fort Collins, CO.

The session titled, "Matching Your Business Community and Schools Online", focuses on PSD’s brand of EZPartner called Share It. Created to bridge the business community’s willingness to supply volunteer time and services with the school district’s needs for expertise, experience and resources, EZPartner, matches these two community’s under one Internet accessible interface.

“EZPartner creates a natural platform for business leaders to offer community engagement while school administrators choose what services benefit students enrolled in the district’s schools,” said Franke. “Relatrix is honored to present at the TAPE conference showcasing effective partnerships, such as the business partnership program between PSD and the Fort Collins business community,” he added.

Relatrix’ EZPartner allows local businesses and organizations to register through the district’s website, creating a directory listing to promote business partnership activities. EZPartner helps business employees and school staff members match business resources with the needs of the district’s schools.

With PSD’s Share It teachers quickly find partner resources to support classroom instruction in categories from computers and materials to job shadowing and mentoring. Businesses then support their local schools, while introducing students to the work environment of the future. “We will discuss the process of getting the buy-in for Share It from PSD’s business community and staff; review the development and deployment of the system within the Fort Collins business partner community and schools; and share outcomes since the roll out of Share It along with future directions for the system,” said Cord.

Using the EZPartner module business partners provide internships, mentors, job shadowing, guest speakers/programs, training and externships for teachers; host field trips or donate supplies and equipment. Staff members create or search for opportunities to bring real-world, post-secondary and workforce ready skills to the students. Volunteers register to share their time, talent, and expertise with students and staff. School administrators logon to the EZPartner site and choose the donations matching the student’s or the school’s requirements. The business partner or volunteer and the administrator then collaborate how to fulfill this partnership removing the donated service and matched request from EZPartner.
