Certified Transportation Services, Inc. announced today the addition of four new buses compliant with Environmental Protection Agency’s 2010 emission requirements and cutting edge safety. “We are advised by one of the manufacturers we are the first in the nation to put their model in service,” commented Eric Gregory, a spokesman for the company.

The first, a 2011 MCI –J4500 is a 56 passenger luxury motorcoach equipped with reclining seats and three-point seat belts, DVD video system with six monitors, fire suppression and Smart Tire monitoring system.    

The company also added 3 new IC School Buses equipped with International MaxxForce DT EPA '10 Engines with under floor wheelchair lifts capable of transporting up to 6 individuals in wheelchairs, variable seating with three-point seat belts, AM/FM radios, CD players and PA System.

“This acquisition represents an additional investment in our community well in excess of $1 million,” added Gregory.

Certified Transportation Services was established in 1990 and currently employs over 100 employees and operates 64 modern commercial passenger vehicles consisting of motorcoaches, school buses and specialty units that include clean fuel CNG units and EPA approved retrofitted units .

The company has facilities in Santa Ana, CA and Escondido, CA.
