MarLida's Diner has a family atmosphere that serves tasty, home-style recipes in generous portions where people feel welcomed to bring their kids for healthy, delicious fare at affordable prices.

Lisa Fagin, owner of MarLida's Cafe & Deli in North Fort Myers, have announced the opening of their family's new restaurant, MarLida's Diner, on Route 41 in San Carlos. The doors to the new diner will open for business on February 1st, and the official Grand Opening will be observed during the weekend of February 5th.

Having successfully quadrupled the revenues of MarLida's Cafe & Deli since buying it from the previous owners, the Fagins decided to make one of the most sensible investments that anyone could make during these tough times for our economy—investing in a new diner that will be operated by their son, David. Keeping the money in the family makes perfect sense for this new investment by the Fagins, for their mission with MarLida's Diner is to create and maintain a family atmosphere that serves tasty, home-style recipes in generous portions where people feel welcomed to bring their kids for healthy, delicious fare at affordable prices. MarLida's Cafe & Deli has a well-earned reputation for serving big portions at reasonable prices, and it will be no different at MarLida's Diner.

David has worked in the food service industry since high school and has had the dream of owning his own restaurant since as far back as he can remember. He once spent two summers in Italy, and that experience only fired up his dream even more. Lisa is a retired nurse who now has the opportunity to assist David with the realization and fulfillment of his dream.

What will set MarLida's Diner apart from others? “Our dishes are truly our family recipes, from the Italian Specialties to our comfort food from the Mid-West. If we wouldn't eat it, we won't serve it,” says Lisa Fagin.

Why would people who are already highly successful with their own cafe-deli want to risk their hard earned fortune at a time like this with a large investment into a new business venture? Lisa Fagin answers that with “The Lord will provide. We were in the right place at the right time. We were waiting for this opportunity to come along close to our home, family, and friends.”

Anyone living in or traveling through southwest Florida and looking for a wide selection of home-style, unique recipes at very affordable prices for them or their entire family to enjoy in a warm, inviting atmosphere should not hesitate to pay a visit to MarLida's Diner on Route 41 in San Carlos.
