Kiarash Derakthi to Assume New Duties as Promotions and Event Coordinator at Connor Sport Court International

Andrew Campbell, formerly Promotions and Events Manager for CSCI, will transition into sales for commercial and outdoor lines at Sport Court West, sales arm of the company serving Utah, Wyoming and Montana.

Connor Sport Court International has added a new Coordinator of Promotions and Events, announced Ron Cerny, President and CEO of the Salt Lake based manufacturer of athletic surfaces.

Kiarash Derakthi, born in Santa Monica, California, will assume duties as the new Promotions and Event Coordinator, replacing Andrew Campbell. Prior to joining CSCI Kiarash worked with the University of Utah in their Sports Marketing group, where he learned many of the skills needed to take on the challenges of his new position. He also earned a Bachelor degree in Business Marketing from the University of Utah. Kiarash will handle the timing and logistics of the company’s activities for its national sports partnerships events and trade shows. Kiarash lives currently in Ogden.

“Andrew brings his years of experience with the Sport Court product lines and will be a great addition to Sport Court West’s sales team,” said Cerny.

A graduate of the University of Utah, Campbell has been with the company for three years. He has managed logistics for Connor Sport Court’s partnerships with professional and collegiate sports organizations, including the NBA and the NCAA. He also managed all company trade shows. He lives in Salt Lake City.
