This is a practical approach to helping students prepare for exams and awarding scholarships
Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) February 3, 2011
The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) has launched a series of $500 scholarships to college nursing students for taking online quizzes that help them prepare for exams. The program helps students prepare for exams by measuring how much they have learned in their nursing classes. The most prepared students are rewarded with a $500 scholarship which can be used toward tuition at the school of choice. Scholarships are now available and it only takes a single registration at http://www.cksf.org.
The CKSF nursing scholarships are free to any undergraduate nursing student in the United States. There are no essays to write or forms to fill out. The 30 question quiz takes less than 10 minutes to complete and participants receive immediate feedback. The top scorers are advanced to the championship round where the winners are determined by time and accuracy while taking the quiz.
“This is a practical approach to helping students prepare for exams and awarding scholarships,” says Daryl Hulce, CKSF president and creator. “The nursing scholarship is one of the few programs that recognize the college students that really put extra effort into mastering their courses.
Additional nursing scholarships as well as scholarships for business and education majors are scheduled for April. All undergraduate students majoring in nursing, education and business are eligible to register and participate.
Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) administers this educational program, and many others, with the mission to create educational and scholarship opportunities in which participants of all levels have a fair and equal chance to participate and be successful. Developed and administered at Nova Southeastern University through the Fischler School of Education and Human Services, CKSF recognizes winners and awards scholarships through the use of internet-based quiz competitions which can be accessed through http://www.CKSF.org. Since its first scholarship program in 2000, CKSF has developed a wide variety of scholarship and academic enrichment programs for students of all ages. Today, CKSF administers several new contests each month and is growing at a rate of approximately 1,000 new students per day.
