Promega Corporation and Fugent LLC recently signed a supply agreement that establishes Promega as a provider of the leading transfection tool FuGENE® 6. This agreement ensures that researchers will continue to have access to the FuGENE® transfection reagents they have always used in their daily research. This expands on the existing Promega/Fugent agreement for supply of the FuGENE® HD Transfection reagent.

For over 13 years Fugent has been the manufacturer of FuGENE® 6 transfection reagent, which has nearly 10,000 citations in scientific literature to date.* “FuGENE® 6 and our new transfection reagent FuGENE® HD are designed, developed and exclusively manufactured by Fugent LLC” says Vladimir Gurevich, President of Fugent LLC. Both FuGENE® 6 and FuGENE® HD demonstrate very high transfection efficiency with low toxicity and they have very simple protocols. FuGENE® transfection supports a breadth of Promega technologies including luciferase technologies used for for cell-based assays.
