Recon Analytics – “What you need to know, not what you want to hear”

After more than a decade as one of the leading telecom analysts in United States, Roger Entner has launched Recon Analytics. Executives and policymakers today are faced with the challenge of having a tsunami of information to process, but too few insights in a timely manner to make optimal decisions. The mission of Recon Analytics is to clear the clutter, help focus executives and policymakers on what is actually happening in the marketplace and what really matters, and make a positive impact on business and policy decisions. Recon Analytics’ approach is bolstered by its industry-first executive advisory board, consisting of telecom luminaries such as:

Denny Strigl – former President and Chief Operating Officer of Verizon Communications and President and CEO of Verizon Wireless
Ed Reynolds – former President, Network for Cingular Wireless and President of BellSouth Mobility
Dennis Miller – former President & CEO of Midwest Wireless
Jim Greenwell – President & CEO of BilltoMobile

Our unique Executive Advisory Board helps Recon Analytics to hone its strategy, improve its research, and provide unparalleled insights into the matters most relevant to the business and the public policies impacting it. With this foundation, Recon Analytics will focus on three core areas: Syndicated research, custom consulting, policy related data analysis, as well as white papers.

Our syndicated research has a two-fold objective: First in, last out. Our team will cover topics before anyone else in the industry. This provides our partners with the needed recon of what will impact their business down the line. Once the dust has settled, we will provide the definitive analysis of what happened, what others have missed, and how to favorably change the ultimate outcome.

Our custom consulting is focused on making a strategic and tactical impact on our partners’ business. Our recommendations are based not only on our syndicated research, but more importantly on the synthesis of disparate data sources. Thereby our analysis takes our consulting recommendations to the next level. Our work creates actionable insights that executives can use rapidly to change their business. In addition, our executive advisory board members are available for these consulting projects when deemed appropriate.

Recon Analytics will conduct market research and other data driven analysis on key public policy issues as well as write white papers on various topics where the opinions of Recon Analytics and that of our partners coincide. We will apply the same rigorous data centric approach to White Paper in order to provide relevant insights to policymakers, executives, and customers alike. Successful advocacy can only be achieved through ethical, principled, consistent, thoughtful, and believable arguments that stand the test of time.
