We chose Grand River to design and integrate our ClearPath technology with Magento, based on their deep technical expertise and retail ecommerce knowledge
Ann Arbor, Michigan (PRWEB) February 3, 2011 -
Grand River, a leading ecommerce development and integration service provider, today announced a collaboration with Pitney Bowes Inc. to integrate Magento™ platform extensions with Pitney Bowes's ClearPath™ international ecommerce and logistics service. The ClearPath™ Services Suite helps reduce the challenges associated with international ecommerce, enabling U.S. online retailers and ecommerce solution providers to seamlessly execute their global expansion strategy.
Through Grand River integration services, the ClearPath services will be available as a downloadable extension through Magento Connect, the official marketplace for Magento extensions. Grand River will develop the extension to be compatible with Magento Community, Magento Professional, and Magento Enterprise versions, allowing customers of all sizes to leverage the Pitney Bowes international services.
"We chose Grand River to design and integrate our ClearPath technology with Magento, based on their deep technical expertise and retail ecommerce knowledge," said Craig Reed, vice president of ecommerce solutions for Pitney Bowes. "This integration will help simplify international transactions, making cross-border ecommerce orders easy to manage with minimal effort to implement."
As a Magento Enterprise Partner, Grand River will serve as the exclusive host of the ClearPath extension for the Magento platform, and provide these solutions directly to the Magento community.
"We're excited to be working with Pitney Bowes," said Scott Robertson, partner and co-founder of Grand River. "They're a leader in international ecommerce distribution. Their import and export regulatory expertise, advanced technology, and sophisticated logistics infrastructure make global ecommerce easier for retailers, shippers, and customers alike."
