Westport, CT (PRWEB) February 3, 2011
Christina Brandt, Westport resident and master coach, is donating 10 percent of her new Peace by Design program’s profit to the Get in Touch Foundation, an organization that promotes breast health. Get in Touch is aimed at teaching girls in grades five through 12 about breast self exams through its innovative Daisy Wheel™. Brandt is a member of the board of the foundation.
“The Get in Touch Foundation’s mission of encouraging gals of all ages to get in touch with their bodies, information and each other in the crusade against breast cancer spoke to me deeply. Breast cancer has affected members of my family and several friends,” says Brandt.
Peace by Design is a 12-month, interactive teleclass created by Brandt. She works with program members to design their own “peaceful” practices. “We create the life we live. Peace by Design devotes one month each to 12 topics including finances, spirituality, physical health, friendship, home, loving relationships, and more – it’s about achieving peace in each area.”
“We all need more peace in our lives,” says Brandt. “One way I create peace for myself is with my association with the Get in Touch Foundation. I believe that having the tools to better understand and respect our bodies creates peace and empowerment.”
In addition to the monthly calls, Peace by Design members will have access to a private “participants only” page on Brandt’s website, http://www.christinabrandt.com, where they can find resources such as books, videos, blogs and worksheets to continue their exploration.
The total cost for the 12-session program, including 24/7 online resources access, is $189. Brandt also offers the option of purchasing only one class, or a few at a time.
